This is first version of moving image. This is second version of moving image. About my work Basically, my major inspiration for this project is geometrical abstraction and video art. And I generally love to being interested in nature of basic visual elements such as point, line, plane, colour and so on. I’m quite often shocked by how it has strong aesthetic power from extremely limited expression when I come across artworks of geometrical abstraction and minimal artists especially Ellsworth Kelly, Frank Stella, Francois Morellet, Richard Mortensen. First of all, I would say that the concept of my work was developed on the basis of minimalism with aspects of time and motion. My artwork ‘Room 01 and 02’ shows combination of geometrical abstraction and moving. I found out that by exploring relationship between basic visual elements and time, it could invite people to investigate constantly varying feature of geometrical construction deeply rather than a single imagery. I thus created a programmed, experimental moving image by following rules of procedure based on an application of continuity and minimalism.
